Retirement Planning: Why I’ll Be Working ’Til I Drop — And Loving It

Here’s a common question I get when people figure out I’m self-employed.

“So, how are you planning for retirement?”

My answer?

I’m not.

Not the way you think, anyway.

Redefining the Retirement Game

Retirement, the old-school way? You know, hitting 65, swapping the office for golf courses or a Winnebago, roaming the country. Not for me, no sir.

I’ve had my fair share of job-hopping — 19 gigs, to be exact — and each time, it’s a whole reinvention saga.

But here’s the kicker: I don’t want to ‘retire-retire.’

Why? You hear those stories, right?

People clock out for the last time, lose their spark, and it’s all downhill.

Not my style.

I’ve got other plans.

The Work That Doesn’t Feel Like Work

I want to keep the engines running full throttle until I kick the bucket.

Because if you dig what you’re doing, it’s not really work, is it?

And that’s what I’ve been up to for a decade — helping out business owners, soaking up new skills, and making a solid six figures while I’m at it.

Loving every bit of it, too.

Feels less like a grind and more like I’m already retired.

Why would I stop?

Let’s Redefined Retirement

What do you say, how about we change how we define retirement.

Let’s make it about ruling your days, doing what fires you up.

Am I retired? In the old way, nope.

But in this fresh, kickass version? Yep.

Been living it for ten years.

It’s not just a journey; it’s the destination too.

Before you go…

Wanna see something cool? I just learned this. Tap and hold the clap button and see what happens. (Cool huh?)
